Nominate inspirational young people for a Medway Youth Award

Do you know an amazing person who goes that extra mile, someone who has overcome difficulties, or who has shown courage or resilience?

Nominations for the prestigious Medway Youth Awards, which celebrate the achievements and contributions of young people in our communities, are now open.

Residents can nominate young people aged between 11 and 18, or up to 25 for young people with additional needs.

The Medway Youth Awards are organised by Medway Youth Council, in partnership with Medway Council Youth Service and Child Friendly Medway, and celebrate the remarkable children and young people who are living, working or attending school in Medway and who are making a difference to the community.

This year’s categories include:

  • The McDonald's Courage and Inspiration Award

  • The Nucleus Arts Creative Arts Award

  • The VRU Community Action Award

  • The Learning and Achievement Award

  • Personal Development and Achievement Award

  • Sporting and Physical Contribution Award

  • Young Volunteer of the Year

  • Team Recognition Award

  • Youth Support Worker of the Year Award

The deadline for nominations is Midnight Friday, 1 July 2022.
