Our chair and MYP Thomas Baldock attended an NCS political question time event organised by the MY Trust. The panellist consisted of local politicians from Labour, Conservatives, Green and the Liberal Democrats. Questions were taken from the groups of young people on issues such as Knife Crime, Period Poverty, Policing and Politician’s Pay. Thomas took the opportunity to reveal that the issues brought up during the evening were also high issue as shown by the Make your Mark results.
He said. ‘It’s great that young people are now involved in the debate at the front’.
We look forward to working with the NCS young people in the future.
