The Medway Youth Council joined community leaders at the Cliffe Wood Primary School for Medway’s Holocaust Memorial Day 2019. Our Chair and Vice-Chair gave the introduction and closing prayer. It was an evening to learn, teach and reflect upon the theme of ‘Torn from Home’. In partnership with Medway Council, Chatham Memorial Synagogue, Rochester Cathedral, and the Medway Inter-Faith Action Forum we are committed to ensuring that the Holocaust and other human atrocities are never forgotten.
