On Friday 23rd November the Medway Youth Council hosted Rotary Youth Speaks. The event was judged by Kelly Tolhurst MP, Rotarian Alex Hyne (A Former Chair of Medway Youth Council), and Councillor David Royle. The competition is open all schools and college communities including those that are home educated and any other young people’s community organisations, for example, community RotaKids, community Interact, Scout Groups, Girl Guides. It is a four-stage competition with the winner going into the national heats.
MYC Member Jasmine Ee also took part in the competition and thoroughly enjoyed it. We congratulate all those who took part in this year’s competition and wish them all the best as they continue to develop their speech writing and public speaking skills.
