The 2018 Make Your Mark voting has now concluded; over 1 million young people nationwide voted in these elections and over 10,000 young people from Medway vote.
This is the highest turnout from young people in Medway so far, representing a 100% increase in turnout from 2017. 10,186 votes also represent 37% of the youth population – a staggering number for any consultation.
On Friday 9th November Medway’s MYPs Ore Emmanuel and Thomas Baldock will sit in the House of Commons to debate which from the top 5 motions should become the UK Youth Parliament national campaigns.
