Medway Youth Council is always looking to engage with local schools in the area. The Council wants to ensure representation and Youth Councillors from all of Medway’s schools. The annual Make Your Mark ballot is a major way that you can get involved in our campaigns, and further enable engagement with your students.
Our students have previously carried out informative meetings with Ambassadors and Student Councils within schools, updating them about our work and our campaigns.
Make Your Mark gives a unique opportunity to reach out to young people who go on to be opinion formers and leaders of the future. This year, through school, online and through our grassroots we’ll be reaching out to young people once again. In 2016 a total of 978,216 young people from every corner of the country took part in the annual Make Your Mark ballot.
The ballot will decide what Members of the UK Youth Parliament should debate and vote on to be their campaign for the following year. The debate will take place in each November within the House of Commons. Schools are encouraged to contact MYC, and get involved in this vital piece of work that we carry out every year.
